Lemon & Barrett's Powersports Staff

As co-owner of Lemon & Barrett's, Paul is responsible for overseeing the general flow of everyday business. Paul has worked with his partner, Rod Barrett, since 1979. He believes that since the store's opening in 1995, Lemon & Barrett's has prided itself on its ability to provide exceptional service to the customer. He attributes this success to the working relationship he has with his partner.

"I do more behind-the-scenes work while Rod takes cares of the promotional side of things," Paul said. "We balance each other out which makes for a great working relationship." Due to this relationship, Paul and Rod were able to open their second branch in south Parkersburg. Paul said the friendly competition between the two stores keeps the employees motivated to sell and do well. Paul's first ATV ever ridden was a three wheeler and his first dirt bike was a Honda 70 when he was 14 years old. Paul enjoys his job for many reasons: "I enjoy everyone I work with, the interactions with customers, and how I learn something new each and every day."

Eric, son of co-owner Rod Barrett, has been deeply involved in the industry as long as he can remember. He began working at Lemon & Barrett's in May 1999 and as General Manager. Eric is responsible for ordering and selling new/used vehicles, as well as controlling the promotional materials of the business. His first dirt bike was a PW 50 when he was 6 years old. Eric has always enjoyed his job due to the relaxed atmosphere. 

"When I am here, I'm working in my element," Eric said. "I also like this job because it serves as a foundation for what I eventually want to do which is to run my own company."
